A breath of fresh air!

Just quick note let you all know that after 39 days of being inside Albany Medical Center my dad got outside for about 5 minutes. It was a lot of moving and lifting and was uncomfortable and it makes my dad very nauseous but they got him into a chair. Then they got his wound vacs and tubes all loaded up and off we went. We got downstairs, went outside, took a few breaths of fresh air and now we are back upstairs in E401c. It was a big moment but a lot for my dad.

Signing off for now,
Dana

Joe and Cindi
Brian and I are off for three weeks to ride horses on a buffalo reserve (and yes - this is Brian - of course he is going to try to bag one - Tell Joe we'll save a scrumptious piece for him) Anyway we will really miss our access to the blog - We are keeping up with Joe with our prayers and are soooooo proud of you both. We are celebrating each little milestone with you and will be thinking of you every day while we are gone
love Chris and Brian G

Joe, what a great milestone for you! It's amazing to think how far you've progressed in just over a month! Go, Joe, go! Go, Joe, go!! Today at church I gave a public thank you for all the prayers and good wishes from members of my congregation. People I hardly knew came running up to me at the end and said, we've been praying day and night for Joe. I think you've become a bit of a hero in Cambridge, Mass. Keep up the great work, Joe. You're progress is amazing! love to you, Cindi and your wonderful children, Bev

Go, Joe, go! I think that should be the title of a book about strength and perserverance. I am continually amazed by the strength the Ferraro's display, especially Joe. Please know that many Clevelanders are praying for you. Especially Corey, Brock and me!

Lots of hugs,
Patty G

Mr. Ferraro!
I kid you not I read this stuff like a motivational book. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Keep up the incredible work!

Rob and Family,
Just wanted to say hello and let you know I read up on your dad/husband every day. You guys are a pretty strong bunch! I'll be keeping you all in my prayers.

Tell Joe that if he's a good boy and hurries up getting better I'll buy him a Cheeseburger & fries at Archie's or whatever he can handle at the Waffle House. (We pick only the highest class places)
